What Is the Crimson Kitsune?

The Crimson Kitsune is the second Empyrean mutation skin for Kitsune, released alongside Galaxy during the Winter 2025 holiday event. Where Galaxy goes cosmic, Crimson goes infernal, deep red tones across the fox form instead of starfields. Same Empyrean mutation underneath, completely different visual identity.

How Players Got It

Crimson was the harder pull of the pair. Unlike Galaxy, it never dropped from the Blox Fruit Gacha, the only route was the Winter 2025 Fruit Box’s chase tier. That single-source origin is the whole story behind its value: fewer players rolled it, fewer physical copies exist, and it has never returned since.

Crimson vs Galaxy: Which Is Better?

Gameplay-wise, they’re identical, same Empyrean mutation, same damage buff, same range increase, same reworked Z and C. The difference is purely supply and aesthetics. Galaxy has broader demand because more players encountered it through the Gacha; Crimson has a tighter, more collector-driven market because its only source was the box. Pick whichever look you prefer — your opponents won’t know the difference, but traders will.

Crimson Kitsune Trading Value Analysis

This is the most liquid top-tier limited on the board: near-maximum demand with a stable trend. That liquidity is its superpower. Among items in its value tier, Crimson moves faster than almost anything else, which makes it the safest high-value limited to hold — you’re not stuck hoping a collector logs in, because working Kitsune players are always buying. It’s the rare top-tier item you can actually exit quickly. As always, check the live value box at the top of this page before trading, and run both sides through the calculator — at this tier, every percentage point of a trade matters.

How to Trade Crimson Kitsune Without Getting Burned

High-value limiteds attract scammers the way honey attracts flies, and Crimson’s liquidity makes it a prime target. Three rules. First, never trade in a random server — use the trading hub in the Second Sea where trades are logged and witnesses exist. Second, always run both sides through the value calculator immediately before accepting; Crimson’s price moves, and a quote from last week is already stale. Third, beware the oldest trick in the book: someone offering “Crimson Kitsune” who actually has the Galaxy skin, or worse, a base Kitsune with a red-ish accessory. Check the item card in the trade window, not the chat description. If a deal feels rushed, walk away — Crimson will still be there tomorrow, but your inventory might not be.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is Crimson Kitsune rarer than Galaxy Empyrean?

Yes. Galaxy had multiple obtainment routes including the Gacha NPC; Crimson was confined to the Winter 2025 Fruit Box chase tier, so fewer copies exist. (See the Galaxy Empyrean page.)

Does Crimson Kitsune play differently from base Kitsune?

It carries the Empyrean mutation: buffed ground damage, longer range, a reworked Z attack pattern, and a C cutscene while transformed. (Read about the base Kitsune fruit.)

Can I still obtain Crimson Kitsune?

Only by trading. The Winter 2025 event ended and it hasn’t returned in any form.

Why is it called the most liquid limited?

High demand plus a huge pool of active Kitsune players means buy and sell offers fill faster than Galaxy Empyrean Kitsune, or browse the full Limiteds value list.
